HARLEM EUBANK will return to the Brighton Centre on November 21, this time squaring off against little-known Canadian welterweight Josh Wagner live on Channel 5.
The Wasserman Boxing headliner was announced earlier today, confirming that, should he wish to once again test himself at world level, Eubank, 21-1 (9 KOs), must now wait until 2026.
His last outing resulted in a seventh-round technical decision defeat to Jack Catterall, with the fight halted after both combatants suffered cuts from an accidental head clash.
Prior to the stoppage, though, Eubank had found himself on the receiving end of a convincing, albeit uneventful, boxing lesson against his more accomplished opponent.
For many, this represented a step too far for the unproven Brighton man, whose best win came against battle-hardened veteran Tyrone McKenna back in March.
On that particular night, a career-best performance saw Eubank enthral his home fans with a dazzling 10th-round finish, only to then produce a far more limited display in Manchester just under four months later.
Now back on his home turf, however, Eubank will no doubt be seeking a statement performance against Wagner, 19-1 (10 KOs), who suffered a seventh-round stoppage defeat to David Papot – the Frenchman that lost to Liam Paro last month – in November 2024.
Aside from that, there is very little mention when it comes to Wagner’s resume, with the 32-year-old having seemingly been drafted in as a firm B-side opponent on UK soil.
Elsewhere on the card, British super-middleweights Niall Brown and Darren Johnstone will collide for the vacant IBO European title – a minor belt which, even for this sport, remains perplexing – while heavyweights Matty Harris and Franklin Ignatius gear up for a no less intriguing non-title fight.
