With just two weeks to go until Jake Paul takes on Anthony Joshua, a hall of fame inductee has declared his belief that the controversial fight could go either way.
‘The Problem Child’ is set to enter the contest as a sizeable underdog and understandably so, given the fact that he has not yet fought an active heavyweight and is taking on a two-time champion of the division; who challenged for world honours only last year.
Consequently, many are predicting a devastating victory for ‘AJ’, with the vast majority of fans and fighters expecting that the contest will last no longer than a couple of rounds.
However, on his YouTube channel, two-weight world champion and Hall of Famer Tim Bradley explained why he thinks that Paul-Joshua is a “50/50 fight”.
“It ain’t no foregone conclusion that AJ is going to pull this s**t off.
“This is a dangerous fight for both of these guys, man. This is a 50/50 fight in my eyes. You know, AJ, [points to chin], I don’t know.
“I don’t want to predict none of that but look, if Andy Ruiz can get near him with his little, short tubby self and get in there and lay hands on Anthony Joshua, I think Jake Paul has got a damn chance, man.
“[Paul] is a little quicker on his feet, throws in combinations and he has got that looping right hand that he likes to set up. Anthony Joshua can get outboxed, but by Jake Paul? I don’t know.
Paul-Joshua takes place on Friday, December 19, at the Kaseya Center in Miami, with the event being available to stream live on Netflix.
