A LENGTHY face-off between George Liddard and Derrick Osaze concluded today’s weigh-in at Canary Wharf in London.
The two middleweights headline an eight-fight Matchroom NXT GEN card at Indigo at The O2 where Liddard takes on a man who shared a ring with world title contender Denzel Bentley last time out. Bentley needed only two rounds to despatch of Osaze but tomorrow night’s underdog knows beating Liddard is a must if he is to get back into domestic title contention.
Super-welterweight prospect Junaid Bostan goes for his first domestic title in the chief support when he clashes with Bilal Fawaz for the vacant English super-welterweight strap. Fawaz, like Osaze, is in must-win territory but will be up against it with Bostan who is tipped for big things.
