THE first semi-final of the super middleweight World Boxing Super Series takes place on Saturday (February 17) at the Manchester Arena as George Groves and Chris Eubank Jr meet for the WBA super-middleweight world title (and Eubank’s IBO strap).

Here is all you need to know for Saturday night.

TV Coverage

In the UK, ITV hold the rights to the WBSS. The fight will be a pay-per-view event and available through the ITV Box Office at a cost of £16.95, coverage starts at 7pm.

The ITV Box Office fight can also be live streamed through www.tvplayer.com at the same cost.

Undercard Highlights

The main event is a mouth watering prospect and one of the most exciting clashes in recent British boxing history. The undercard is also an intriguing one with three title fights. Ryan Walsh (22-2-1) defends his British featherweight title against Isaac Lowe (14-0-2). Birmingham’s Tommy Langford (18-1) meets Jack Arnfield in his first British middleweight title defence and Arfan Iqbal (12-0) defends his English cruiserweight title against Simon Vallily (12-1). Undefeated British super-middleweight Zack Parker (14-0) is also in action against Spain’s Adasat Rodriguez (16-6-2).
