Sebastian Fundora’s promoter Sampson Lewkowicz has insisted that an undisputed clash with Jaron Ennis can only take place under one condition.

The two super-welterweight champions appear to be on a collision course, with Fundora retaining his WBC world title against mandatory challenger Ermal Hadribeaj over the weekend.

It was far from his most comprehensive performance but, even so, the ‘Towering Inferno’ managed to stop his man in the final second of their 12-round encounter.

As for Ennis, a seventh-round stoppage saw him claim the WBO and WBA world titles in June, becoming a two-division unified champion by dethroning Xander Zayas.

The 29-year-old was then set to face IBF champion Josh Kelly later this year, only for their unification match to now be slated for early 2027.

Either way, though, Ennis could end up holding three world titles by the time he faces Fundora, with many suggesting that he should be the A-side in their potential clash.

Given that they are both world champions, however, promoter Lewkowicz has told Fight Hub TV that Fundora will settle for nothing less than a 50/50 split.

“It doesn’t matter how many titles [Ennis has]. I see so many stupid guys say he has three belts. [But] he only has two. I have respect for boxing and I’m telling you: Kelly – he can fight.

“I spoke with [Ennis’] advisor and I told him [a 50/50 split] is the deal, because each [fighter],who has sacrificed all his life, deserves to make the same money.”

As Lewkowicz quite rightly mentions, Ennis must first get past Kelly if he is to eventually collide with Fundora for all four major belts.
