Errol Spence Jr makes his long-awaited return to the ring tonight, ending a three-year absence to face former WBO super-welterweight world champion Tim Tszyu in Sydney, Australia.
Former unified welterweight champion Spence has not fought since his stoppage defeat to Terence Crawford in 2023, with many believing retirement was on the cards, but begins a new chapter by moving up to middleweight for the first time in his professional career.

A scrappy fight with back-and-forth rounds to begin with before the American lost steam and the Australian kept steady. Though Spence showed flashes of past form, he looked vulnerable under pressure. Ultimately, three years of inactivity made its mark on the former pound-for-pound star.
