LAST weekend Derek Chisora reminded everyone why he is one of Britain’s most beloved heavyweights, entertaining with his unorthodox yet relentlessly front-footed approach and upsetting the odds to get his hand raised for his 49th fight.

Billed as ‘The Last Dance’, Chisora’s emotional win came in what was assumed to be his last appearance on British shores and the penultimate of his career, but ‘Del Boy’ has now announced the location of his final fight.

Chisora has now revealed on social media that he will fight for the 50th and final time in London when he returns to action later this year, contradicting Saturday’s ‘Last Dance’ theme in a U-turn that will see him brawl on home soil once again.

The final fight of my heavyweight career will be in London. I’m an @OnlyFans athlete, so you can see my training and behind-the-scenes access on my page 🙏🏾 #warchisora

After a long and controversial career which included two world title challenges the 41-year-old continues to power on. The veteran Chisora has strung together three consecutive victories for the first time since 2019 and his latest triumph over Otto Wallin, 27-3 (15 KOs), stands out as one of his best.

His fight against Wallin doubled up as an IBF eliminator for the number two spot in the rankings. And after the win Chisora called for one of three opponents to be his 50th. A rematch against current number one heavyweight and unified champion Oleksandr Usyk, a shot at IBF title holder Daniel Dubois or an all-London battle against his friend Anthony Joshua.
