UFC PRESIDENT Dana White’s commitment to boxing has taken another step forward with the announcement of a new broadcasting deal for Zuffa Boxing.
Led by White and WWE President Nick Khan, the promotional company was formed in March by TKO and Sela with financial backing from Turki Alalshikh. Beginning in January 2026, Zuffa Boxing will stage 12 events a year on Paramount+, which will serve as the exclusive streaming home for the promotion across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.
The deal comes shortly after Paramount was also confirmed as the new broadcasting partner for the UFC from 2026, following a landmark seven-year agreement worth $7.7 billion.
“I’m excited to bring great boxing events to a global audience. There are millions of boxing fans that will now be able to watch competitive fights with up-and-coming boxers as well as the biggest stars in the sport. Paramount will be the home for UFC and boxing fans to watch the greatest fights in combat sports,” White said in a statement.
With 675 fighters currently signed to the UFC, White and Khan aim to recruit between 400 and 450 boxers to Zuffa’s roster. White was also tasked with promoting last month’s Canelo-Crawford super-fight at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, an event supported by Alalshikh and broadcast on Netflix to an estimated global audience of 41.4 million viewers.
“This partnership with Paramount reinforces our vision to redefine the way viewers consume boxing,” Alalshikh said. “More fight fans will now have access to watch some of the most exciting boxers around. We have seen the proof that the appetite is there, this is the future for live boxing coverage and will ensure the sport continues to thrive.”
Details of Zuffa’s first show and full schedule are expected to be announced in the coming months. The early indication is that White intends to build fighters from the ground up, focusing on competitive matchmaking rather than relying solely on established household names.
