Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn made official by Turki Alalshikh
Eubank Jr and Benn clashed after Eubank's victory over Kamil Szeremeta.

CHRIS Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn is officially on according to Turki Alalshikh.

The Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority is the man behind most big fights in boxing nowadays and attempting to make 2025 one of the best years’ in the sport’s existence. And Alalshikh took to social media platform X today (Wednesday) to announce that the British grudge match will go ahead in April in London.

Eubank vs Benn is a rivalry synonymous with British boxing and their rivalry gripped fans in the early 1990s. Over their two fights in 1990 and 1993 Benn failed to register a win with Eubank stopping his great rival in the ninth round of their first enthralling encounter before the pair fought to a lacklustre draw three years later.

Over 30 years later their sons will renew the family conflict on a DAZN pay-per-view. Their middleweight bout, however, had been originally scheduled for October 8, 2022 but during fight week the event at the O2 Arena was dramatically called off when it was revealed Benn had tested positive for the banned substance Clomifene. Two years later the saga was brought to an end when the National Anti-Doping Panel (NADP) concluded that it was ‘not comfortably satisfied’ that Ukad had proved that Mr Benn had committed an anti-doping rule violation for the use of clomifene. The provisional suspension previously in place has been lifted and the charge against him has been consequently dismissed.”

Once again Benn vs Eubank looks set to go ahead at middleweight (160lbs) taking Benn out of the welterweight division where he rose to prominence after a sticky start to his career. The 28-year-old will resume his career against Eubank having not fought since a points win over Peter Dobson, at 150lbs, in Las Vegas 11 months ago.

Eubank Jr, 34-3 (25 KOs), also competed just once last year by winning the 34th fight of his career stopping veteran Pole Kamil Szeremeta in the seventh round. Afterwards Benn, 23-0 (14 KOs), entered the ring which led to a combustible face-off between the two Brits.

April 26 and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is the rumoured date and venue for the huge domestic clash. In his post on X Alalshikh said the event will be called ‘Fatal Fury City of the Wolves’ and is aiming for the pay-per-view to be priced at 19.99 GBP. He has vowed to make a “tough undercard” and finished his announcement saying, “Lets get boxing great again and wait for huge announcement soon.”

Eubank Jr vs Benn done 👍🏻 in April, London, by the name of (Fatal Fury City of the Wolves) Soon I will announce the day and the location, it will be The Ring’s first card in collaboration with the video game and SNK, and I will push to make PPV price 19.99 GBP for the fans, with…
