Canelo Alvarez has been presented with a big financial offer to face one man in particular.

Alvarez has been out of action since last September when he suffered an upset loss to Terence Crawford in their undisputed super-middleweight title battle.

The Mexican superstar has been recovering from injury since that clash after undergoing elbow surgery, but is due to return after 12 months out when he challenges WBC super-middleweight champion Christian Mbilli in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this September.

While his focus may be on that upcoming battle, Canelo has been offered the chance to take on another fighter in what his rival has dubbed as ‘the biggest fight in boxing.’

The man in question is Jake Paul, who has revealed on a live stream that he has spoken to Alvarez and has met his financial demands for the fight.

“Canelo wants 200 million. I have the 200 million dollars for you, easy money. Jake Paul vs Canelo, let’s get it done. This is what the fans have been waiting for. This is the biggest fight that can possibly be made in boxing.

“Canelo says he’s down on the phone, so we’re going to make it happen. I have the 200 million and I think that’s going to be the next fight. Sign the contract Canelo. Much respect to you, let’s make the biggest fight in boxing happen.”

Paul last fought back in December when he suffered a stoppage loss to Anthony Joshua in a controversial battle. ‘The Problem Child’ recently claimed he may not compete again after that bout, but it appears he is now happy to step into the ring with Alvarez.

In fact, prior to the ‘AJ’ fight the pair were close to announcing the contest, however Canelo instead opted to sign a four-fight deal with Riyadh Season. He said then that the Paul fight, if it happens, will come at the end of his career when he is done with championship level.
