The British Lionhearts will box Ukraine Otamans at York Hall April 21-22

British Lionhearts through to World Series of Boxing quarter-final

THE BRITISH Lionhearts have reached the quarter-finals of the World Series of Boxing, an international competition that sees teams of boxers competing against one another.

Coming top in their group means the Lionhearts get a home tie in their quarter-final. The British franchise will take on the Ukraine Otamans at York Hall, in London’s Bethnal Green. 10 bouts will take place across Thursday April 21 and Friday April 22 to decide which team will progress to the semi-finals. (A tie breaker will be on hand in case the two teams are level after the two days of competition.)

Britain has boxed Ukraine at York Hall before, a memorable occasion which featured no less than two reigning Olympic gold medallists, Vasyl Lomachenko and Oleksandr Usyk.
