Reports of Floyd Mayweather’s professional return to boxing continue to do the rounds, with Terence Crawford and Ryan Garcia the most recent mooted opponents.
Now, two-division world champion Tim Bradley has revealed which man he would prefer ‘TBE’ to face.
Mayweather had been touted for a lucrative rematch with Manny Pacquiao during the first half of 2026, but the event was eventually postponed, despite Netflix at one point announcing that the pair would collide in September.
Then, in recent weeks, reports that a showdown between Mayweather and reigning WBC welterweight world champion Garcia, emerged – where a victory for the 49-year-old Michigander would see him become the oldest world champion in boxing history.
This week, Crawford called for a clash with Mayweather, believing that their fight would ‘crash everything’ and suggesting that a meeting with the 50-0 icon could be the own potential bout to bring him out of his own retirement.
On his YouTube channel, Bradley responded to the recent call-out, declaring that he would much rather see Mayweather take on Crawford than Ryan Garcia.
“Your a** will come back for a 29-year-old Ryan Garcia when the best fight that can be made in boxing right now is you and Terence Crawford? You and Terence Crawford!
“Crawford is older [than Garcia], he is retired, but you want to go and fight this 29-year-old Ryan Garcia?”
Before Floyd Mayweather can truly focus on a professional return, the undefeated superstar is scheduled to take part in an exhibition against Australia’s Matt Floyd, in Bangkok, Thailand, on Saturday, December 19.
