74% voted for Katie Taylor the Irish star who won the inaugural European Games in Azerbaijan. For the first time Taylor got a bout in the Irish championships and so won a national title as well in 2015.
Fellow European Games gold medallist, and fellow London 2012 champion, Nicola Adams received 19% of the vote.
4% voted for the USA’s Claressa Shields and 3% for Virginia Fuchs.
