Harlem Eubank vs. Nurali Erdogan – Boxing Betting Prediction

HARLEM Eubank returns to the ring for the first time in over a year, taking on Nurali Erdogan in Newcastle. This is Eubank’s first dip into welterweight waters against a former French champion at 147.

Eubank (1/16) is a strong favourite here to score win number 20. It might not be the kind of name he was hoping for after strong links to both Adam Azim and Dalton Smith evaporated. Harlem was last seen stopping Germany’s Timo Schwarzkopf in round 11 of his Brighton outing last November.

Erdogan (10/1) has appeared sturdy enough, losing three times but all over the 10-round distance. However, only one stoppage win in 16 victories tells the story of his power. Will he have enough to stop Eubank from motoring forward? If it’s contested over eight rounds, or even 10, then possibly. At the time of writing, the exact distance is still up in the air.

Once he shakes off the initial rust, Eubank to win by KO/TKO at 8/5 seems increasingly appealing. Filling out at 147, dropping in sharp combinations as Erdogan flags, this could become a solid statement pretty quickly.
