ARTHUR ABRAHAM failed to make weight for his clash with Chris Eubank Jr on Saturday (July 15) at the Wembley Arena weigh-in today.

He missed the first attempt, coming in one pound 15 ounces over the limit. The German complained about the scales, prompting the stage to be cleared. He didn’t make weight then and even moving the scales to the arena floor for a third go proved fruitless.

Abraham had looked listless compared to Eubank at Tuesday’s public workout.

Abraham retreated but he eventually made weight, two hours after the first attempt, scaling 11st 13lbs 10oz.

Eubank looked in magnificent shape, weighing in at 11st 13lbs 3oz. He turned to Abraham for the face off and barked, “Are you ready?”

The fight is on.
