‘AJ’ will compete in his first significant bout under the coaching of Team Oleksandr Usyk after his event with Jake Paul last year. The fight also marks his return following a tragic car crash in Nigeria, which killed two of his closest friends, Sina Ghami and Latif Ayodele.
In the opposite corner is Albania’s Prenga, who has 20 knockouts from 20 wins and just one defeat, but has fought nowhere near this level. The 35-year-old is seen very much as a warm-up for Fury – a fight that could be finalised and announced as early as next week if ‘AJ’ does the business.

Joshua KO 2. A quite unbelievably torrid first round for Anthony Joshua, who was dropped twice by huge underdog Prenga and looked to be struggling to get his legs beneath him. The Albanian was deterred in the second relatively easily, however, as ‘AJ’ took control and pulled out a heavy knockout to salvage a mega-money fight with Tyson Fury. Thrilling when it was expected to be routine.
