ANTHONY JOSHUA today branded Tyson Fury a ‘fat boy’ and offered him a ringside seat to his fight with IBF world champion Charles Martin on Saturday.

In a bizarre Twitter spat, Fury responded to comments Joshua made earlier in the week about Tyson being ‘jealous’ of his physique.

The ‘paper title’ Fury refers to is one of the baubles he wrenched from Wladimir Klitschko last year, though he was promptly stripped of it due to an inability to make the required mandatory defence.

Joshua, usually fairly reserved on social media, then responded and hinted that Tyson may not be the only member of the Fury family the Olympic champion has his sights set on. Tyson’s cousin, Hughie, is also an unbeaten heavyweight on the rise.

@Tyson_Fury keep on praying for my downfall fat boy. I’ll see you soon. 1 fury at a time.

Fury laughed off Joshua’s response and claimed a fight with the 26-year-old – who is a heavy favourite to beat Martin – would be ‘easy.’

@anthonyfjoshua lol praying for your downfall, I hope u win, as u will make me a lot of money, for an easy fight,#liketakingcandyfromababy

At this point, Joshua tweeted a photo of Fury congratulating Martin back in January after the American picked up the vacant IBF title when his opponent, Vyacheslav Glazkov, pulled out in the third round with an injury.

He also offered Fury a ringside seat for his clash with Martin at the O2 Arena in London.

@Tyson_Fury I got you & a plus 1 ringside ticket so you can come & give me this same treatment on Saturday #Haterpic.twitter.com/EnvjWcbgTC

Although we didn’t need confirmation that interest in a fight between Fury and Joshua is sky-high, the amount of interactions this series of tweets garnered certainly proved just how huge a domestic showdown between them would be.
