FOR what will be his first fight in two years, and his first fight in Britain for five years, Amir Khan has weighed in at 10 stone 10 pounds, some five pounds lighter than he was for an ill-fated middleweight fight with Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez in 2016.
Khan’s opponent Phil Lo Greco, meanwhile, scaled 10st 9lbs and 5oz ahead of the pair’s clash this Saturday (April 21) in Liverpool, England.
Khan and Lo Greco were both above the welterweight limit of 10st 7lbs (147lbs) but that hardly matters because their scheduled 12-rounder has no belts on the line.
