Khan scaled 146.3lbs, Algieri weighed 146.2lbs. Britain’s Khan has high hopes that an impressive victory will put him in line for a fight with Floyd Mayweather before the year is out. Algieri, after suffering a points loss and six knockdowns against Manny Pacquiao last November, needs to prove that he can be a force against the elite of the welterweight division.
