Alycia Baumgardner added to Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano 3 card

UNDISPUTED super-featherweight queen Alycia Baumgardner has earned herself a coveted slot on the chief support of Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano’s trilogy showdown.

The all-women’s boxing event will take place at Madison Square Garden, New York, on July 11, with YouTube star Jake Paul’s MVP Promotions extending its relationship with Netflix.

Taylor, 24-1 (6 KOs), locked horns with her rival in a fiercely contested rematch last November, featuring on the undercard of Paul’s glorified exhibition with a 50-year-old Mike Tyson.

In the end, the Irish phenom enhanced her decorated legacy with a unanimous decision victory, leaving Serrano, 47-3-1 (31 KOs), determined to exact her revenge.

Once again, streaming juggernaut Netflix will broadcast their undisputed super-lightweight dustup, along with the eagerly anticipated return of Baumgardner, 15-1 (7 KOs).

‘The Bomb’ tested positive for banned substance mesterolone just days before her last victory – a unanimous decision win over Christina Linardatou – back in 2023.

In response, the WBC effectively cleared Baumgardner of ‘intentionally’ taking the anabolic steroid, allowing her to enter a clash with Delfine Persoon last September.

After Persoon suffered a cut following an accidental head clash, though, their bout was ultimately halted, and ruled a no-contest, through four rounds.

But now, Baumgarner is gearing up to make her MVP Promotions debut against unbeaten contender Jennifer Miranda who, in her 12 professional outings, is yet to fight outside of Spain.

Nevertheless, the 38-year-old enjoyed her fair share of success as an amateur, beating Chantelle Cameron while also suffering defeats to Taylor and Natasha Jonas.

Announcing her next fight on X, Baumgardner wrote: “Moments like this don’t make me — they expose the truth. I’m not here to prove anything. I’m here to take everything.”
