1) Jermell and Jermall Charlo
Jermell has been a world super-welterweight champion, on and off, since 2016, while his twin brother, Jermall, is a former super-welterweight champion who now operates at middleweight, where he has won a WBC title. Jermell has fought – and lost – against Canelo Alvarez and no doubt Jermall would in the future like to fight Canelo and try to do what his brother could not.
2) Naoya Inoue and Takuma Inoue
Naoya holds all the belts at super-bantamweight and is widely considered the hardest puncher on the planet, while Takuma, who boxes in a very different style, picked up the WBA bantamweight crown with an impressive one-punch knockout of Jerwin Ancajas in February. They will fight on the same card next month in Tokyo.
3) Liam and Callum Smith
Once part of a foursome, which included Paul and Stephen, Callum and Liam Smith now represent the Smith family as a duo. Callum, a light-heavyweight, was formerly the WBA super-middleweight champion, while Liam, who recently split two fights with Chris Eubank Jnr, held the WBO belt at super-welterweight.
4) Jason and Andrew Moloney
Twin Australians Jason and Andrew Moloney have been involved in numerous big fights in the lower weight classes of late. Andrew has so far managed to grab a WBA “regular” super-flyweight title, whereas Jason won the WBO bantamweight crown last year.
5) Tyson and Tommy Fury
Half-brothers Tyson and Tommy Fury have gone about their pro careers in very different ways. Tyson, the heavyweight, has fought some of his biggest rivals in order to emerge at the top of the heavyweight pile, whereas Tommy, a light-heavyweight, has in recent times focused more on boxing influencers to increase his profile.
6) Tim and Nikita Tszyu
Seemingly on the cusp of a fight against Terence Crawford, former WBO super-welterweight champion Tim saw his zero taken by Sebastian Fundora in Las Vegas earlier this month. Nikita, meanwhile, is 8-0, and was last seen beating Dylan Biggs to become the Australian super-welterweight champion.
7) Charlie and Sunny Edwards
Charlie won the WBC flyweight title in 2018, beating Cristofer Rosales in a career-best performance, before younger brother Sunny followed suit in 2021, taking Moruti Mthalane’s IBF flyweight belt via 12-round decision.
8) Daniel and Caroline Dubois
The only brother and sister combination on the list, in Daniel and Caroline Dubois you have both a heavyweight contender in the men’s game and a lightweight contender in the women’s game. At 26 and 23 respectively, they also have time on their side.
9) Kubrat and Tervel Pulev
At the other end of the spectrum, you have Kubrat and Tervel Pulev, two Bulgarians in the Indian Summer of their respective careers. Kubrat, now 42, is a former European champion who has unsuccessfully challenged for the world heavyweight title a couple of times, while 41-year-old Tervel, a cruiserweight, has won 18 of 19 pro fights and is best known for losing against Sergey Kovalev in 2022.
10) Hassan and Adam Azim
Relatively fresh on the scene, Hassan and Adam have a combined pro record of 18-0. Adam, 11-0, has already won and vacated a European title, but Hassan, who is 8-0 and whose progress has been steadier, still awaits his first title opportunity.
