Natasha Jonas vs Lauren Price undercard given boost following Boxxer announcement

THE all-womenโ€™s card headlined by Natasha Jonas vs Lauren Price on March 7 has just been elevated, with the announcement of two new fights emerging earlier today.

Jonas, 16-2-1 (9 KOs), and Price, 8-0 (2 KOs), will collide for three of the four major world welterweight titles at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England.

Their mouth-watering crossroads matchup represents one of the most intriguing in womenโ€™s boxing, with both combatants coming off a scintillating run of form.

Unified champion Jonas has amassed seven straight victories since losing to Katie Taylor back in 2021, while WBA titlist Price is seemingly yet to break a sweat in the professional ranks after claiming her Olympic gold medal.

Elsewhere on the card, WBC lightweight champion Caroline Dubois will make the second defence of her strap against number one-ranked contender Bo Mi Re Shin.

An appetizing showdown between Karriss Artingstall and Raven Chapman will feature on the Boxxer show, too, with Olympic bronze medallist Cindy Ngamba also gearing up for her eagerly awaited professional debut.

And yet, with it now having been confirmed, a fight between Chloe Watson and Jasmina Zapotoczna could potentially steal the spotlight.

Unbeaten champion Watson will make the first defence of her European flyweight title after claiming the trinket with a unanimous decision victory over Justine Lallemand back in 2023.

Zapotoczna, meanwhile, is most likely drenched in confidence after pulling off a sizable upset to outpoint Maisey Rose Courtney last July.

Along with this came the announcement that undefeated super-bantamweight prospect Francesca Hennessy will take on Boliviaโ€™s Carla Camila Campos Gonzales.
