ANTHONY Joshua and Daniel Dubois remain difficult to split in every sense, as the pair weighed in barely four pounds apart in Trafalgar Square, London.ย
After the weigh-in, both men had a few words to say, starting with the champion.
โIโm ready to get in the ring and fight now; letโs go,โ said Dubois, dismissing the tense faceoff as having no bearing on the fight itself.
โWeโve been working hard, man. A lot of work has gone into this. The talking is done.โ
And a final prediction from โDDDโ: โA win, by any means necessary.โ
Anthony Joshua was in good form when thanking the weigh-in attendees for supporting him through thick and thin.
โIf I can ask you for one favour, go home and make a prayer for me that I will become three-time heavyweight champion of the world,โ said the 34-year-old. โI look at myself as a gladiator who is stepping into the ring to perform for the people who love blood, guts and glory. So Iโm pumped and ready to perform for the people.โ
