NEW ZEALAND heavyweight Joseph Parker has worked diligently towards his shot at a world title. He has amassed a 20-0 (18) and was Anthony Joshua’s mandatory challenger for some time but now gets a shot at the newly vacant WBO heavyweight title, once held by Tyson Fury, at the Vector Arena in Aukland.
Parker, who has quick hands and has shown himself to be exciting offensively, boxes Andy Ruiz, who might look portly but is deceptively skilled. Victory would see Ruiz become the first heavyweight champion of the world.
