Gennady Golovkin vs Chris Eubank Jr could actually happen

Negotiations for Gennady Golovkin vs Chris Eubank Jr are ongoing

CHRIS EUBANK JNR could fight Gennady Golovkin. Few have middleweights have seemed willing to take on fearsome Kazakh Golovkin, although Eubank has often spoken of the prospect. That fight could be about to become a reality.

Eubank, the British champion, boxes Tom Doran on the Anthony Joshua-Dominic Breazeale undercard on June 25. If he gets through that, the Golovkin fight, according to promoter Eddie Hearn, becomes a realistic possibility. “100 percent,” Hearn told Boxing News.

Discussions to make Golovkin-Eubank are ongoing. “If everybody wants it as much as they say they do, that fight can happen,” the promoter continued. “We’re in negotiations and it’s going very well.”

Not only that but it could be coming to the UK. “Maybe end of September,” Hearn suggested.
