The Big Question: Of all the British heavyweight pay-per-views on the horizon which is the most appealing to you and why?

With a flurry of UK heavyweight pay-per-view events on the horizon, this week's panellists were asked to pick their favourite

The Big Question: Of all the British heavyweight pay-per-views on the horizon which is the most appealing to you and why?

Callum Johnson (Light-heavyweight contender)

The most appealing to me, now that I’m appearing on it, has to be the May 2 card featuring Dillian Whyte and Alexander Povetkin. But it’s not just the fact I’m boxing on it that makes me pick that one. By the time the whole thing is announced it will be a stacked card from top to bottom.

Declan Taylor (Journalist)

Definitely Daniel Dubois vs. Joe Joyce. For me it’s the most evenly matched and hardest to call of the lot. Oleksandr Usyk vs. Dereck Chisora is a reasonably close second because it’s still not clear how Usyk will deal with a big, horrible heavyweight.

Wayne Alexander (Former European super-welterweight champion)

The one I’m most looking forward to is Daniel Dubois vs. Joe Joyce in April. It features two unbeaten British prospects on the fringes of world level battling it out and both hit hard, especially Dubois, who has ended most of his fights early. It will be very interesting to see how Dubois does if he can’t end the fight early and it goes beyond eight rounds and he has to rely on his stamina and skills

Gary Logan (Pro trainer)

I love Dubois vs. Joyce. Warren believes in his guy wholeheartedly and there’s lots of ability, menace, power and violence from Dubois. Joyce is a former Olympic silver medallist, unlucky not to get gold, who brings a toughness unmatched by any previous Dubois opponent. If he takes Dubois’ first power punch and doesn’t go anywhere then it’s a super interesting fight. It’s Dubois’ finesse and power vs. Joyce’s obduracy and punch volume.
