The Big Question: How much interest do you have in seeing Kubrat Pulev challenge Anthony Joshua in June?

The Big Question: How much interest do you have in seeing Kubrat Pulev challenge Anthony Joshua in June?

Dave Allen (Heavyweight contender)

I personally think it’s a very good fight. Pulev is a very good fighter with a fantastic jab, good power and an ability to win fights by any means possible – which means being boring if he has to be. He isn’t the most exciting opponent but he’s a big challenge for Anthony and one that people must take seriously.

Mickey Helliet (Promoter and manager)

Pulev is unbeaten in five years but was disappointing in his only venture into genuine world class against Wladimir Klitschko. I can’t say Joshua vs. Pulev is a fight I’m getting very excited about, but AJ has to stay active while waiting for the Fury fight and doesn’t want to be getting stripped.

Derek Williams (Former European heavyweight champion)

I am not that interested in seeing Joshua vs. Pulev. This is heavyweight boxing, but I’m not sure if Pulev has enough firepower to create any fireworks. If Joshua is back to himself mentally, he should win easy.

Alan Hubbard (Journalist)

Fury’s giant shadow now towers over everything. Beating Wilder has done AJ a huge favour by creating far more interest in his otherwise ho-hum fight with Pulev than there might have been.
