Boxing betting predictions: Catterall vs Prograis
Manchester, UK: Jack Catterall and Regis Prograis Weigh In ahead of their WBO Super Lightweight International Fight tomorrow night at CoOp Live, Manchester

Jack Catterall vs. Regis Prograis – Boxing Betting Prediction

JACK Catterall and Regis Prograis are ready to rumble this evening in Manchester. Both carry world title aspirations while digging for gold at different ends of the boxing spectrum.

Catterall has come so close to glory in the past, only to be denied by the wayward scoring of the men who matter. Prograis, on the other hand, has already tasted world title success on two occasions and feels he can grab hold of another belt (or at least another shot) as he rolls down the hill towards retirement.

Catterall (1/4) has decent momentum having decisioned Josh Taylor last time out, thus settling their ongoing feud in a fairly decisive manner. Prograis (3/1) is up against it here as the odds reflect.

Prograis has shown signs of decline lately, struggling to close the distance and being much more hittable than in his prime. Danielito Zorrilla used his length and range to cause unexpected issues for the now-35-year-old. Devin Haney won every round, dropped Prograis and busted him up over 12 heavy sessions. Prompting the valid question: how much does Regis have left to offer at this level?

Catterall had the bit between his teeth against Taylor, and that grit and anger helped push him over the line. In previous outings, the Chorley southpaw has snake-charmed his way through fights, using simple yet effective tactics to do his work, land accurate shots, and tie up for a reset. If he can establish the jab, range, and find an early rhythm, this version of Prograis will struggle to find exploitable gaps.

According to his coach, Jamie Moore, Catterall punches harder than opponents expect. Therefore, there is a touch of value in Jack cracking the final remains of the Prograis easter egg and grabbing a possible surprise stoppage.
