DILLIAN Whyte and Joe Joyce are gearing up to headline an all-heavyweight card on April 5, kickstarting Frank Warrenโs 2025 schedule with DAZN.
The Queensberry Promotions boss announced on social media earlier today that the pair will collide at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, England.
Whyte, 31-3 (21 KOs), comes off a seventh-round stoppage victory over Ebenezer Tetteh last December, showing several signs of fatigue before producing an emphatic finish.
The 36-year-oldโs win is one of three since his punishing defeat to Tyson Fury back in 2022, with โThe Body Snatcherโ failing to enjoy a lengthy spell of activity in recent years.
Joyce, 16-3 (15 KOs), meanwhile, has not fought since he was outpointed by Derek Chisora last July, but is nonetheless set to blow off the cobwebs on March 1.
Whether his scheduled outing against Patrick Korte at the Bournemouth International Centre will still go ahead is yet to be confirmed, though, as his upcoming assignment against Whyte is likely to take priority.
Elsewhere on Warrenโs โHeavy Impactโ card, Lawrence Okolie will take on domestic rival Richard Riakporhe in just his second heavyweight contest.
โThe Sauceโ is ranked number three by the WBC following his heavyweight debut last December, while Riakporhe, on the other hand, comes off a unanimous decision defeat to Chris Billam-Smith down at cruiserweight.
David Adeleye, too, will appear on the card in an intriguing clash against Jeamie TKV, just under four monthsโ removed from his first-round finish over Solomon Dacres.
And to round things off, Olympian Delicious Orie will make his eagerly awaited professional debut after announcing his promotional deal with Queensberry last week.
