1. Peter Quillin
Quillin hadn’t lost in 33 fights when he faced Jacobs in 2015 and most expected to see a close, competitive fight. What they didn’t expect to see was Jacobs destroy Quillin inside a round, which is what he did.

2. Sergiy Derevyanchenko
Derevyanchenko, undefeated in 12 pro fights, gave Jacobs all he could handle when they met in 2018, depsite a first-round knockdown. The fight ended up going the distance and Jacobs edged a split-decision.

3. Maciej Sulecki
Unbeaten in 26 fights, Sulęcki went in against Jacobs in 2018 with a great deal of momentum, yet was outclassed by his American opponent. Dropped in the final round, he lost a fairly wide decision.

4. Gennadiy Golovkin
Though a narrow defeat, Jacobs’ performance against Golovkin in 2017 was a star-making one, with the “Miracle Man” enjoying the kind of success even Canelo Álvarez, set to face Golovkin next, didn’t get to enjoy in their controversial draw.

5. Saul ‘Canelo’ Álvarez
This was another fight in which Jacobs came up short, yet one he again used to demonstrate his world-class ability. Beaten only by a few points on each of the scorecards, he gave Canelo as good a fight as he has had for some time.

6. LuÍs Arias
While somewhat unproven going in, Arias carried an 18-0 record into his fight against Jacobs in 2017 and was deemed a live underdog at the very least. He was dominated, however, over the 12-round distance.

7. Sergio Mora II
Due to the unsatisfactory conclusion of their first fight (Mora injured his ankle), Jacobs and Mora clashed for a second time in September 2016, and this time Jacobs left no doubt, dropping Mora in the fourth round, fifth round, and then three times in the seventh.

8. Caleb Truax
Before being stopped inside a round by Andre Dirrell, and before upsetting James DeGale in England, Truax found himself halted in the 12th round against Jacobs in 2015.

9. Gabriel Rosado
In what was Jacobs’ most recent performance, the Brooklyn man pipped an always game and determined Rosado via split-decision in November 2020.

10. Jarrod Fletcher
Two years after being stopped in a couple of rounds by Billy Joe Saunders, Australian Fletcher was broken up in five rounds by Jacobs in 2014.
