Carl Frampton fight time and where to watch it

FORMER two-weight world champion Carl Frampton fights for the first time since suffering his first professional loss at the hands of Leo Santa Cruz. On Saturday (July 29) he takes on tough Mexican Andres Gutierrez at the SSE Arena in his hometown of Belfast. Having outpointed Santa Cruz last year, Frampton was beaten by the former three-weight champion in January. When Santa Cruz refused to travel to Belfast and a clash with IBF featherweight champion Lee Selby failed to materialise, Frampton settled on Gutierrez.

Rounds scheduled

12 three minute rounds.

TV coverage

In the UK, the fight is on Channel 5. At 8pm they will air a half-hour preview, the coverage resumes at 10.10pm for the main event. Some of the undercard action will be shown live on Spike from 7pm. In the US, Showtime are streaming the fight on their Facebook and YouTube channels, beginning at 5.30pm ET/2.30pm PT.

Undercard highlights

Middleweight Conrad Cummings takes on Robert Swierzbinski over 12. Paddy Gallagher fights Ricardo Silva in a 10-rounder. Chantelle Cameron will have her third professional fight while Steven Ward, Lewis Crocker and Padraig McCrory also feature in separate bouts.
