Boxing News to broadcast live boxing double-header featuring Lerrone Richards

LIVE BOXING returns to the Boxing News YouTube channel this week with not one, but two stacked shows.

Already in 2025, fans have seen on our channel Sergey Kovalev, Lenar Perez, Khariton Agrba, Albert Pagara, Zelfa Barrett and many more in action. This week the cameras return to the UK – and the historic York Hall – for a Neilson Boxing/TM14 Promotions double-header on Friday, September 26 and Saturday, September 27.

Night one of ‘Avenge at York Hall’ marks the comeback of former British, Commonwealth, European and IBO super-middleweight champion Lerrone Richards. Now campaigning at light-heavyweight, the 33-year-old southpaw will look to shake off ring rust against the experienced Dylan Courtney. Between 2019 and 2021, Richards put together a career-defining run of victories over Tommy Langford, Lennox Clarke, Giovanni De Carolis and Carlos Gongora, establishing himself as Britain and Europe’s best at 168lbs and a genuine world title contender.

After a setback against Steed Woodall in 2024, Richards is eager to rebuild in a thriving domestic light-heavyweight scene featuring Craig Richards, Lewis Edmondson, Ezra Taylor, Bradley Rea, Lyndon Arthur and more.

Joining him on Friday’s bill is the charismatic Jordan Flynn. The 29-year-old impressed earlier this year when stepping up against rival Cameron Vuong. Despite being stopped in the seventh round, Flynn showed promise and still has time to regroup, rebuild, and push towards challenges at super-featherweight or lightweight.

With additional bouts to be confirmed, attention then turns to Saturday’s card, already stacked with five competitive contests:

  • Unbeaten Jack Bannister continues his rise at cruiserweight.
  • An England v Wales clash sees Finley James take on Jake Tinklin at welterweight.
  • Lightweight prospect Arnie ‘The Terminator’ Dawson looks to extend his unbeaten run against former Southern Area title challenger Marley Mason.
  • Light-heavyweight Mark Williams meets Dutch opponent Bas Oosterweghel.
  • Former Southern Area welterweight champion Jordan Dujon will be hoping for a standout performance against Miami-based Belgian Ibrahima Diallo.
  • An unbeaten heavyweight clash when the Martin Bowers’ trained Dorin Krasmaru takes on the popular Harvey Dykes.
  • Also in action is the George Groves’ trained cruiserweight Lucas Roehrig.

More fights are still to be announced – and tickets remain available for what promises to be another thrilling double-header at the famous York Hall.

Follow all the action LIVE and FREE on the Boxing News YouTube channel, starting this Friday evening.

Tickets can be purchased here.
