Bakole vs. Ajagba Betting Tips
Martin Bakole To Win By KO/TKO @ 4/6
Martin Bakole To Win/Fight To Go Under 5.5 Rounds @ 9/4
MARTIN Bakole and Efe Ajagba clash on Saturday night in Riyadh. The winner will not only be in pole position for a crack at a major title but also hold the legitimate claim as Africaโs top heavyweight.
Bakole (1/4) is no stranger to the Riyadh ring, having rumbled in at barely two daysโ notice to save the day in February. When Daniel Dubois pulled out of his bout with Joseph Parker, the Congo boxer stepped in and was knocked out in two rounds by the New Zealander.
Pocketing that pretty payday, Bakole returns to action here against Nigerian puncher Ajagba (3/1), who has also suffered a damaging defeat in the past. Ajagba has bounced back well since his sole loss, to Frank Sanchez, in 2021.
Since that loss, when he was floored and thoroughly outboxed, Ajagba has become more of a thinker, even considered by some to be reluctant to throw. Guido Vianello, who was recently seen losing to Richard Torrez Jr, had strong patches of success over Ajagba.
While Bakole wonโt be dancing around like Cuba’s Sanchez, if he does get Ajagba hurt, he’d be expected to put the Texas-based boxer away. Martin’s fast-handed approach caused Jared Anderson no end of problems. Efe will experience similar issues.
Can he overcome Bakoleโs steadfast approach? Itโs unlikely, although if Ajagba lands the same shot Parker did, high on the head, his power can wobble Bakole, who will be in much better condition than in that previous Parker outing.
