IN this week’s edition of Boxing News magazine, Amir Khan breaks down the Canelo Alvarez vs Liam Smith fight. Here’s what Amir had to say:
“I THINK Liam will do himself proud in this fight and cause Canelo some big problems that will surprise a few people. Liam is one very tough fighter and he goes into this fight having never lost, and as a world champion. That will be a big boost for him, and he’s quite a big super-welterweight too.
I feel Liam may get a late stoppage, as it will be very hard for him to win a decision over there in Texas, seeing as he is the away fighter. Liam will give everything he has got in this fight and I expect him to impress, despite being an underdog. I’ve shared a ring with Liam and I know that he is going to surprise a lot of people in this fight. He’s a very tricky fighter and is as tough as they come.”
