Allen promises early win as Fisher weigh-in sets stage

Johnny Fisher vs. David Allen Weigh-In

JOHNNY Fisher and David Allen tipped the scales heavier than their thrilling draw 147 days ago, setting the stage for a fiery heavyweight rematch tomorrow at Londonโ€™s Copper Box Arena.

Fisher, the unbeaten 23-year-old ‘Romford Bull’, weighed 245lbs, up four pounds from last time. Allen, 33, hit 265lbs – his heaviest in seven years, seven and a half pounds more than before. Sporting underwear plastered with his own face, the Doncaster brawler vowed to upset Fisherโ€™s raucous army in their thousands.

โ€œIโ€™m here to do a job and Iโ€™m here to do it as early as possible,โ€ Allen told interviewer and former IBF middleweight champion Darren Barker.

Unfazed by the hostile crowd, he added: โ€œAnother day at the office for me. Iโ€™ve come here to fight. Gonna get going earlier this time. Iโ€™m going to get the job done inside the distance.โ€

Fisher, 13-0, soaked up the cheers at todayโ€™s DAZN-streamed weigh-in and fired back. โ€œItโ€™s not about what he wants to do, itโ€™s about what I want to do and weโ€™re gonna win at all costs.โ€
