Agit Kabayel stops Zhilei ‘Big Bang’ Zhang in round six

Agit Kabaeyl vs. Zhilei Zhang

AGIT Kabayel caused another stir in the heavyweight division by stopping Zhilei Zhang in round six of their heavy-handed clash.

Zhang fired out a round-one warning shot that had Kabayel skipping around the perimeter of the ring. Kabayel forced the pace in the second, tanking the significantly bigger man to the body.

Kabayel’s pace was working well as he pushed Zhang onto the back foot in round three. Could Zhang live with this kind of workrate? The answer would soon be revealed, but not just yet.

As quickly as Kabayel was getting on top, Zhang landed the left hand equaliser that had the German on his backside for a count from referee Mark Lyson. The reverse in fortunes was short lived.

Round six saw the big Chinese boxer struggling to hold on and suck up some air. Kabayel was called off by referee Lyson but not for long, as Kabayel’s relentless forward momentum continued.

Zhang took a knee soon after, exhausted and in need of respite. Lyson counted him out at 2-29 of the sixth. Zhang drops to 27-3-1 (22 KOs) while the winner, Agit Kabayel, improves to 26-0 (18 KOs).
