ENGLISH flyweight Lisa Whiteside stepped in for Nicola Adams (who was recovering from a shoulder operation) to enter the World championships. Hard-punching, Whiteside won through to the 51kgs final. Even there she performed well, arguably unlucky only to win a silver medal.
