LIAM Davies features in the main event against Shabaz Masoud at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham tomorrow night. Davies’ IBO super-bantamweight title is on the line here in a 12-rounder. Let’s see who else is on the undercard:

Chantelle Cameron vs. Patricia Berghult

Cameron defends her WBC Interim 140-pound strap against Swedish title challenger Berghult in what should be a fast-paced affair. Chantelle is the former undisputed champion at this weight, so a win should push her back up towards challenging the very best.

Ekow Essuman vs. Ben Vaughan

Last time out, Essuman was involved in a thriller with Owen Cooper for the WBO European welterweight title, eventually stopping Cooper in the 10th and final round. It was a dramatic ending and Ekow now defends that same belt against Vaughan, who arrives with a 10-0 slate, just like Cooper.

Ezra Taylor vs. Kristaps Bulmeistars

Nottingham puncher Ezra Taylor was last seen stating his case for a Ben Whittaker fight out in Riyadh. Ben has enough on his plate right now, so Ezra is back to basics, facing a strong Latvian. Bulmeistars has done the 10 rounds twice, including a losing effort to Ralfs Vilcans, who was recently seen pushing Anthony Yarde over 10. Taylor will do well to force a stoppage.

Eithan James vs. Jermaine Osbourne-Edwards

Before Owen Cooper was involved in his classic battle with Essuman (see above), he picked off Eithan James’ 0 in an undefeated clash. This is his first outing since that night in March, at this same venue, and he’ll be looking to role reverse and defeat 11-0 Jermaine from Wolverhampton, who is stepping up in levels for the first time.

Best of the rest

Irish middleweight Eoghan Lavin boxes Remi Scholer over four rounds. Telford’s Bradley Thompson fights Sean Jackson, who has yet to record a pro win in 26 attempts. Sheffield’s Mykyle Ahmed tackles Colombia’s Yin Caicedo and debutant Lewis Williams faces Nottingham’s Lamah Griggs.
