JOHNNY Fisher brings the โBosh Armyโ to the Copper Box Arena on Saturday evening to correct any potential wrongs from his first Dave Allen meeting.
When the pair first went at it in Saudi Arabia, Fisher was dropped in round five and got the nod in what was considered to be a slightly fortuitous split verdict. Now, they go at it once again. Who will join the heavyweights on the undercard?
Kieron Conway vs. Gerome Warburton
After his Japanese adventure fell by the wayside, Conway returned to UK soil to defeat Birmingham boxer Ryan Kelly for the same Commonwealth middleweight title he defends here. The vacant British belt (relinquished by Denzel Bentley) is also on the line as โBread Makerโ Warburton gets his big title chance.ย
George Liddard vs. Aaron Sutton
11-0, with six KOs, aged 22, Liddard appears to be every inch the future prospect. Bristol man Sutton is 19-1, which looks nice, but his sole loss to the aforementioned Warburton (see above) probably tells the true story of how heโs been built. Liddardโs aggression and power will make the difference.ย
Jimmy Sains vs. Gideon Onyenani
Essex man Sains has been cheekily compared to Artur Beterbiev during the build-up to this one. Nine knockouts in nine wins is quite the return. Can unheralded Kent man Onyenani last the course? All four of his losses have gone the distance, so he holds key durability.
John Hedges vs. Nathan Quarless
โGentlemanโ Hedges hasnโt been pulling up too many trees since his 2020 debut. Time to push on, starting with this 10-rounder against tough Liverpudlian Quarless, who went the rounds with Viddal Riley.
Best of the Rest
Emmanuel โLeliโ Buttigieg started his pro career promisingly on his Belfast debut. However, stoppages have since been harder to find, although he removed Grant Dennis last time out. Serbian foe Radulovic has boxed 33 times.
Watfordโs Shannon Ryan takes on Spanish-based Moroccan Fara El Bousairi in a super-flyweight 10-rounder.
Heavy-handed Taylor Bevan takes on Argentine journeyman Juan Cruz Cacheiro over six rounds.
