1. Leo Santa Cruz

They’ve already had two great fights, the trilogy must happen. It’s 1-1 and their polite rivalry is becoming a gripping sporting spectacle. And who can say how good a third, decisive encounter would be.

  1. Lee Selby

There was bitter disappointment when the Welsh IBF featherweight champion missed out on the chance to defend his title on the Frampton-Santa Cruz bill in Las Vegas. It could have built up a fight with himself and Frampton. That could still happen, Frampton has the name recognition, Selby the title and the Welshman deserves a showdown with a big name.

  1. Oscar Valdez

The Mexican is an exciting all-action fighter. He might not have Frampton’s skill level or one punch power but he is always active and he would guarantee another war.

  1. Gary Russel Jr

The fast American would be difficult for anyone but as the holder of the WBC title he would offer Frampton the chance to win another world crown.

  1. Abner Mares

Suffered defeat at the hands of Leo Santa Cruz but rebuilt with a victory over Jesus Andres Cuellar. He is still a name, makes for exciting fights and while Frampton would be confident of victory, beating Mares would catapult him back on course to reclaiming his world title.
