THE BLEEDER, starring Liev Schreiber as Chuck Wepner, is an excellent movie detailing the life and times of the former heavyweight contender. The 1975 challenge to Muhammad Ali brought fame, fortune and all the baggage that goes with such luxuries. Some top class acting performances and well worth a watch if you can forgive one or two factual inaccuracies.
CHASING ALI features interviews with several rivals of ‘The Greatest.’ The likes of George Chuvalo, Henry Cooper, Larry Holmes, Ron Lyle, Leon Spinks and Ernie Terrell all try to explain what it’s like sharing a ring with Ali.
