SPEAKING to the press after crushing Jo Jo Dan at the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield, Kell Brook, the IBF champion, insisted he was closing in on Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, the elite of the welterweight division and leading stars of the sport. “I think why not. I’m unbeaten, I’m a world champion and I’ll fight anyone. So why not? My title on the line, unifying the division would be a dream come true for me,” Kell said.
His promoter Eddie Hearn added, “We’re right there now, one more big fight, one more high profile fight and there’s no reason why that fight can’t happen.”
