Rankings update: James DeGale and Badou Jack can’t be split while Gervonta Davis shines

James DeGale

Super-middleweight

James DeGale and Badou Jack battle to a thrilling draw in New York. As such, Badou Jack moves into No 2 behind DeGale. Anthony Dirrell (No 6) notches a win over an unraked opponent and so does not move.

Super-welterweight

Erislandy Lara remains in second after hammering unranked (and way past it) Yuri Foreman.

Super-lightweight

Thomas Dulorme (No 10) stays where he is with a routine win over an unranked foe.

Super-featherweight

Gervonta Davis storms into the rankings by bludgeoning IBF champion Jose Pedraza. Pedraza was ranked 10th, but due to the impressive showing of Davis, the youngster enters at No 6.

Bantamweight

Juan Carlos Payano – ranked third – stays where he is after beating an opponent not ranked in the top 10.
