Panel: Which British boxer do you pick to make a splash on the world stage in 2023?

Nate Collins (Commonwealth featherweight champion)

Honestly, thatโ€™s a tough one. I would say even though he has already made a splash, I expect Joe Cordina to return (from injury) and win his world title back with a big statement. Thatโ€™s probably a standout British fighter for me.

Jamie Moore (Top coach)

I really like Dalton Smith. Heโ€™s a very talented kid. With a bit more experience Iโ€™d expect him to be moving towards fringe world level by the end of next year.

Jason Cunningham (Former European super-bantamweight champion)

Joe Joyce isnโ€™t far from competing for world titles. His division, heavyweight, is the biggest division in world boxing and in it there are plenty of characters. Iโ€™d love to see him get a crack at a world title. Heโ€™s relentless so his style can never be dull.

Joe Gallagher (Top coach)

Natasha Jonas will be a hard act to follow after what she did in 2022, but Iโ€™ll go for Joe Joyce if he gets a shot, Anthony Yarde if he pulls off the upset win against Artur Beterbiev in few weeks, and Sunny Edwards if he gets the big names he is after: Jesse Rodriguez, Juan Francisco Estrada and Julio Cesar Martinez. It will be good to see how he handles them.
