There are countless lead hooks to the body delivered by people like Ricky Hatton and Gennady Golovkin which spring to mind but the one that really sticks out was actually delivered with the rear hand: Roy Jones’ stopping Virgil Hill with a right hook to the body in their 1998 fight.

This will be a popular answer amongst boxing fans my age, but for me it’s the left hand Ricky Hatton skewered Jose Luis Castillo with. Great shot and it took the Hitman to 43-0. He was on top of the world.

The one that sticks out in my head is Hatton-Castillo because Castillo was a beast. To see him wither like that and just go down and not be able to recover, I’d say that.

The best one I’ve ever been hit with is the one Golovkin done me with! I’d been robbed against Felix Sturm, gone close with Sergio Martinez and then Golovkin folded me in half with that body shot, broke two of my ribs. I’d probably say Golovkin against me or Hatton-Castillo.
