CUBA’S 40-year-old Luis Ortiz tipped the scales at a trim 236.5lbs, five pounds lighter than for their first fight in March last year. It’s also the lightest he’s been since 2015.

Deontay Wilder came in at 219.5lbs for the rematch at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, this Sunday morning. He is five pounds heavier than he was for his knockout of Ortiz last time around.

“This time he knows what it’s going to be, he knows what happened the first time and what will happen the second time. He looked good though,” WBC heavyweight champion Wilder said afterwards.
“On Saturday night, I will have no mercy for him when I’m ready to do what I do. We know what’s coming but we don’t know when it’s coming. When it does, bang, goodnight!
“Don’t blink, it’s going to be an amazing fight.”
