DERECK CHISORA began his year with a knockout win. At the Baden Arena in Offenburg, Germany on Saturday (January 9) he halted Hungary’s Andras Cosomor in two rounds. The British heavyweight is the mandatory challenger for European champion Robert Helenius, a rival who scored a controversial split decision win over Chisora in 2011. Victory there would set him up for fascinating clashes with British rivals like Anthony Joshua or David Haye.
On the same bill super-middleweight Giovanni De Carolis stopped Vincent Feigenbutz in the 11th round.
