Deontay Wilder claims Anthony Joshua would give up against him

ANTHONY JOSHUA did not impress Deontay Wilder as he halted Carlos Takam in 10 rounds to defend his WBA and IBF world titles. Wilder holds the WBC belt and claims Joshua would not be able to last the distance with him.

โ€œHe will show courage until he runs out of gas, then itโ€™s life and death for him,โ€ Wilder predicted, speaking to Premier Boxing Championships. โ€œOnce heโ€™s tired, I see him giving up. Once that happens, Iโ€™m going to turn up the heat on him and itโ€™s a wrap. They may throw in the towel.โ€

Wilder also tried to discredit the Britonโ€™s stirring victory over Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley stadium earlier this year.

โ€œJoshua beat Klitschko when [Klitschko] had no belts,โ€ he added. โ€œAnd he was coming off a [17-month] layoff and the loss to Tyson [Fury.] Iโ€™ve seen a lot I can exploit in Joshua that Iโ€™ll keep it to myself, but he ainโ€™t ready for me.โ€
