Dalton Smith and Mathieu Germain weigh in for super-lightweight clash

Dalton Smith and Mathieu Germain

DALTON Smith and Mathieu Germain successfully made weight for tomorrow night’s main event in Sheffield.

Both super-lightweights weighed in just inside the 140lb limit. Germain was pumped up during the face-off making it clear to Smith he is here to win. Smith, meanwhile, knows he is potentially one win away from facing WBC world champion Alberto Puello.

On the undercard two-time world featherweight champion Josh Warrington faces recent Michael Conlan opponent Asad Asif Khan. Should Warrington break his three-fight losing streak a bout against the Northern Irishman could be lined up later in the year.
