CHANTELLE CAMERON will have to travel back to Ireland and take on Katie Taylor once again.

The world’s number one female super-lightweight will defend all her belts against the Irish hero on November 25 at the 3Arena in Dublin. Three months ago at the same venue Cameron deservedly won on the scorecards to hand Taylor her first loss and ruin her homecoming. She still, however, remains the undisputed champion at lightweight.

In the immediate aftermath the 37-year-old made her intentions clear that she wanted to exercise a contractual rematch clause and fight the Northamptonshire boxer once again.

On the night Cameron 18-0 (8) was the better fighter throughout against a below-par Taylor 22-1 (6) who was aiming to become a two-weight undisputed champ.

โ€œLast time out I pulled off one of the best ever away wins against the best female fighter on the planet,โ€ said Cameron in a Matchroom press release.

โ€œTo go over to Ireland for her homecoming with my belts on the line and beat her was a brilliant experience but beating her on November 25 will surpass that as I know what to expect now.โ€

Having triumphantly survived the lionโ€™s den Cameron says she will know what to expect in the rematch and is aiming for a more emphatic win.

โ€œIโ€™ve boxed at that high level with a huge amount of pressure on me and the crowd against me.

โ€œGoing into November 25 Iโ€™m more than prepared this time. I know what it feels like now and Iโ€™m going to go in there with more aggression and energy and Iโ€™m confident of getting the job done in better fashion.

โ€œIโ€™m going to be a lot better in the rematch. In the gym weโ€™re correcting mistakes that Iโ€™ve made. There were little things that I was doing during the first fight that led to me being headbutted a lot โ€“ thatโ€™s why my face was very bruised up at the end of the fight.

โ€œGoing back to Ireland to beat Katie Taylor twice in a row will show that it wasnโ€™t just a lucky night for me and an off night for Katie. I said it last time โ€“ I think Iโ€™m all wrong for Katie. Iโ€™m too big, Iโ€™m too strong and my will to win is too strong. Iโ€™m going to be there all night long. Katie picked the wrong fighter to fight.โ€

November 25 becomes a hugely important night in Taylor’s career. Having beat Amanda Serrano in a gruelling fight of the year contender the loss to Cameron raises questions over how long she has left at the top. She will have to rise to the occasion once again if she is to overcome the champion.

โ€œI’m delighted the rematch has been made and really can’t wait for another huge night in November,โ€ said Taylor in her few words for the press release. โ€œI relish challenges like this, and these are the occasions I live for.โ€
